Event Description

JOIN US, Sunday December 16, 2012

Doors Open Promptly at 1:00 pm, and the event begins at 1:30pm.  We'll end by 3:00 pm

It is a community gathering to celebrate our abundance and offer an alternative to the Holiday shopping season.

Consider that:

* First thing on the morning after Thanksgiving, millions of Americans line up in the dark outside big-box chain stores to be the first to swarm over billions of dollars of stuff - brand new stuff, created with new resources from the Earth

*One nation accounts for 5% of the population and 40-50% of the resource consumption of the planet. Guess which.

*Some of the good stuff we already have isn't being well used or fully enjoyed.

*Giving gifts for the holidays is fun. Most of us want to continue giving gifts.

Step 1.  Find 3 quality items in your home, shop or office that someone would enjoy as a gift... fun, useful, interesting or beautiful items in really good shape that you feel  you can spare .

("Quality" doesn't mean "expensive". It means well-made, worthwhile, likely to be valued. The original price doesn't matter).

Step 2.  Bring them to the Historic Ashland Armory. Don't just drop your stuff off. We're doing more than that. Bring the present of your presence. Stick around to visit, tell a story or two about what you brought to the person who wants it, and find some things that you'd like to take away to give as gifts to others (a gift to yourself is ok, too). There won't be any bargaining; you just bring what you're ready to give away and take away whatever you'd like.

Step 3.  Then use the gifts you take home to reduce your new gift purchases.

Three simple steps, that's it. This will be our own Holiday shopping event, a round of giving and receiving that includes no money and no new demands on resources. For some of us it may also be a stretching exercise - a chance to let go of stuff, or let go of worries that we might not get back "our fair share", or more fully let go of commercially-planted ideas that it's not a real gift if it's not shiny & new from the store.

We'll have tea and simple treats to eat; bring a tasty sweet finger food to share if you’d like.

The Deception of Virology | Why Coronavirus Is Not Contagious | The Bernician

Firstly, viruses are not living organisms or living microbes. They do not have a respiratory system, nor do they have a nucleus or digestive system. Viruses are not alive and viruses are not contagious. The fear behind Coronavirus, for instance, is wholly unwarranted. Forget everything you think you know about viruses and bacteria. You have been lied to. The science of virology is based upon the study of viruses. However, no real footage of viral activity exists (except for a recently released (2018) short footage of an HIV virus which shows merely 20% of the virus theory process). Such footage is merely 3D animation and models. Scientific Encyclopedia states viruses have been obtained for experimentation by means of extremely powerful centrifuges which must be specially built. Viruses are so small that they average around 0.1 microns in size for a typical virus.

There Are Two Strains of COVID-2019—But Is One Actually Deadlier Than the Other? | The National Interest

On March 3, 2020, Dr. Xiaolu Tang and his colleagues at Peking University and other institutions published a study in the National Science Review which caused a stir in a world preoccupied by the inexorable spread of the novel coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-2019). From cases identified in China and abroad, he and his colleagues had identified two distinct strains of the virus.

UN REPORT: Covid-19 Lockdown-Related Hunger Kills 10,000 Children Per Month, Throws 140 Million Into Extreme Poverty | Fort Russ

As the coronavirus plandemic and its restrictions are pushing already hungry communities over the edge, COVID-19-linked hunger is leading to the deaths of 10,000 more children per month over the first year of the pandemic, according to an urgent call to action from the United Nations. Now as lockdowns and international trade routes disrupt vital aid supplies, the UN has warned that the coronavirus pandemic could have an intergenerational effect on the health of millions of children, Daily Sabah reported. Based on the worst-case scenario written by the UN experts, nearly 180,000 children could die this year alone where the pandemic could cause young children to miss 50% of their nutritional care and treatment services. Further, more than 550,000 additional children each month are being struck by what is called wasting, according to the UN – malnutrition that manifests in spindly limbs and distended bellies. Wasting and stunting can permanently damage children physically and mentally, transforming individual tragedies into a generational catastrophe.

S.D. Gov. Noem Dismisses Report Claiming Sturgis Motorcycle Rally Was COVID 'Super Spreader': 'It's Fiction' | Trending Politics

"This report isn’t science; it’s fiction. Under the guise of academic research, this report is nothing short of an attack on those who exercised their personal freedom to attend Sturgis,” said Gov. Noem in a press release Tuesday. "Predictably, some in the media breathlessly report on this non-peer-reviewed model, built on incredibly faulty assumptions that do not reflect the actual facts and data here in South Dakota. “At one point, academic modeling also told us that South Dakota would have 10,000 COVID patients in the hospital at our peak. Today, we have less than 70. I look forward to good journalists, credible academics, and honest citizens repudiating this nonsense," Gov. Noem said. Good journalists are repudiating it, but there may not be any credible academics left anymore given the fact that our system of higher education has long since been dominated by Marxist/Leftists -- some of the same people who tried to tell us that a 'scientific study' from earlier this year 'proved' that riots, protests, and looting-fests have not spread the virus. Only motorcycle rallies and Trump political events spread coronavirus, don't you know.
