The Hakomi Method is experiential and is taught experientially. There are four main components of the Hakomi method, including the state of mind of the therapist as the basis for the healing relationship, keeping the focus of attention on present experience, using experiments in mindfulness to reveal unconscious beliefs, and providing a "missing experience" of emotional nourishment as an alternative to habitual experiences that are limiting or painful. We want to reduce unnecessary suffering and reinforce new neurological and emotional possibilities for a happy, healthy life.

Space is limited. Please register now to save your spot.

Adama Hamilton apprenticed and co-taught with Ron Kurtz, originator of The Hakomi Method, during the last eight years of Ron's life.

He is described in this way by Ron, "I am happy to recommend my friend and co-leader, Adama Hamilton, to you. Adama has been with me, studying and co-teaching, for the last eight years. He has been my close associate throughout the refinements I have made to the Hakomi Method.

"Adama is extremely perceptive and sensitive. He possesses a highly developed, spiritual nature, including the ability to heal. Through the years, he has been an unfailing support for me, not just in the work we do together, but also in everyday life. His bright and loving ways are ever present. Whatever he does, he does with integrity and grace."

Silvia Kohen has an M.A. in Psychology, and is a Certified Hakomi Teacher and Trainer. She is a post graduate of Naropa University in Buddhist Psychology and Movement Therapy. She has been in contact with Hakomi and its founder, Ron Kurtz for over 20 years, studying, translating and co-teaching in the U.S., Canada, Mexico and Argentina. Both Ron Kurtz and the Hakomi method have impacted her life deeply and continue being of much guidance. Silvia deeply believes in the innate power of healing that we all have and in the possibility to support each other in the process of becoming full human beings.

Tesla Chief Technology Officer JB Straubel has confirmed that the company started solar cell production at Gigafactory 2 in Buffalo.

The Anthropocene defines Earth's most recent geologic time period as being human-influenced, or anthropogenic, based on overwhelming global evidence that atmospheric, geologic, hydrologic, biospheric and other earth system processes are now altered by humans. The word combines the root "anthropo", meaning "human" with the root "-cene", the standard suffix for "epoch" in geologic time. The Anthropocene is distinguished as a new period either after or within the Holocene, the current epoch, which began approximately 10,000 years ago (about 8000 BC) with the end of the last glacial period.
