The media and social scientists are fond of naming and ascribing characteristics to generations of Americans: Generation X, Baby Boomers, The Silent Generation. Sometimes these cohorts exhibit real differences in attitudes, views, behavior, and communications styles, but these distinctions can also create points of departure that may not actually exist. Scenarios that might create misunderstandings will be presented to a panel of six adults of varying ages moderated by John Bowling, Ph.D.
This presentation is part of a free, monthly series presented by the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at SOU and open to the public.
