Reflexology is based on the principle that there are reflexes in your feet, hands, and ears that correspond to all parts of the body: glands, organs, and the actual body structure. Reflexology therapy is scientific, in that by using specific techniques to the reflex points on the feet and hands that correspond to certain parts of the body – tensions and blockages are released, allowing the free flow of vital energies and helping the body to heal itself. There are over 7,200 nerve endings in each foot. Our feet hold one fourth of all the bones in the body and are recognized as a gold mine of opportunity to enhance your health and wellbeing.

Right now in Oregon there are no regulations on the Practice of Reflexology which prompted me, as a practicing Reflexologist here in the Rogue Valley, to develop a Reflexology course to maintain the integrity of the Practice. The course consists of: Three 2-day workshops, 30 hours of case studies, and a 2 hour private meeting (in person or on the phone) when case studies are completed. After each weekend course you will receive a “Certificate of Attendance”, on completion of the entire course including case studies you will receive a “Certificate to Practice Reflexology”.

Tainted: Can California solve pot's pesticide problem? | The Cannifornian

The big difference will be the amount of pesticides in your weed. That’s because starting Jan. 2,  when California’s vast legal marijuana market opens, all cannabis must be tested — and most chemicals will be banned. Much of California’s cannabis is tainted, including the “medicinal” stuff. But soon state-sanctioned weed may become the greenest in the nation.

Monsanto, Bayer, DuPont, Dow Chemical, and Syngenta defend their coming oligopoly (MON) (DD) (DOW) (SYT) | Quartz

Top executives from Bayer, Monsanto, DuPont, Dow Chemical, and Syngenta today (Sept. 20) testified before the US Senate Judiciary Committee in Washington, making a case for why federal regulators should approve the mega-mergers, which stand to fundamentally reorganize global agriculture. (Executives from the sixth company involved in the consolidation, China National Chemical Corp., declined an invitation to appear at the hearing.)

Electric car use by country | Wikipedia

Increasing adoption of electric vehicles around the world has in recent years been expanding rapidly. As of the end of 2016: Cumulative global sales of highway legal plug-in electric passenger cars and light utility vehicles achieved the 2 million unit milestone in December 2016, of which, 38% were sold in 2016.[1]. The 1 million milestone had only been reached in September 2016. Global sales of the light-duty plug-in vehicle segment achieved a 0.86% market share of total new car sales, up from 0.62% in 2015 and 0.38% in 2014.[3] The global ratio between all-electric cars (BEVs) and plug-in hybrids (PHEVs) was 61:39, up from 59:41 at the end of 2015. Cumulative sales of plug-in hybrids totaled almost 800,000 units. Despite their rapid growth, plug-in electric cars represented only 0.15% of the 1.4 billion motor vehicles on the world's roads, up from 0.1% in 2015.
