THE ASHLAND FOOD ANGELS is a fully volunteer grass roots food retrieval and redistribution network centered in Ashland and sending food out every day of the year to people in need in the local area. Collecting fruit, vegetables, bread, dairy and other foods from many local bakers, stores, farmers and restaurants, the Food Angels (about 60 volunteers) box and deliver the food to organizations such as the Ashland Senior Center, Head Start, the Northwest Seasonal Workers, Jackson County Fuel Committee, various school projects, the Emergency Food Bank and others.
There is no government support for our program and the summer yard sales are one way to raise the money to keep this excellent program going. Please come and find something you can't live without and lend your support to our efforts to make sure no one goes hungry in our valley!
Please come and find something to buy. Also tell your friends and family.
Thank you and see you at the sale.
