Event Description

This Soul rejuvenating ritual is designed to help us break through our cultural blockages around grief. Throughout our lives, we all experience losses in various forms. Some of these include: health challenges, work problems, unlived dreams, broken relationships, abuse and loved ones who die. If we aren’t in an active and intimate relationship with the grief of our losses, then the magic, passion, grace, joy and intimacy with life often gets veiled by our unexperienced grief. Grief turned inwards often distorts itself and becomes internal and/or external judgements and violence. Many of us are overwhelmed with the stress and loss showing up in our own lives, that is can be very difficult to face into the devastations that are occurring on the planet.

When we honor grief as sacred and create a strong community container for it, we can begin to recover the nourishing qualities of our grief which can deepen our sense of inner-connection with all of life. We may realize that our grief is shared and is never solely individual. We can realize the sacredness and wisdom of our grief.

As we learn to deeply include earth honoring ceremonies and community as part of the ritual, we can open to the new dream of the Earth. This dream is rooted in sacred honoring of all life and is sourced from a deep wellspring of compassion, joy and justice. The conscious embrace of our grief helps us have more resilience for navigating these turbulent times and responding with passion, joy and clarity.

Join us to discover the sacred medicine of grief to restore vitality and gratitude in our lives. To allow the sacred waters of grief to cleanse and strengthen our connection to ourselves, our partners, friends, family, community and the Earth. As we come together, we open Sacred Heart of Creation where the tears of the Divine can fill us with a heart-illuminated passion that can guide our actions for the benefit of the whole.

During our time, we will participate in Earth based Andean ceremony, writing exercises, illuminated poetry and sacred texts, sacred music and grief ritual.

Electric car use by country | Wikipedia

Increasing adoption of electric vehicles around the world has in recent years been expanding rapidly. As of the end of 2016: Cumulative global sales of highway legal plug-in electric passenger cars and light utility vehicles achieved the 2 million unit milestone in December 2016, of which, 38% were sold in 2016.[1]. The 1 million milestone had only been reached in September 2016. Global sales of the light-duty plug-in vehicle segment achieved a 0.86% market share of total new car sales, up from 0.62% in 2015 and 0.38% in 2014.[3] The global ratio between all-electric cars (BEVs) and plug-in hybrids (PHEVs) was 61:39, up from 59:41 at the end of 2015. Cumulative sales of plug-in hybrids totaled almost 800,000 units. Despite their rapid growth, plug-in electric cars represented only 0.15% of the 1.4 billion motor vehicles on the world's roads, up from 0.1% in 2015.

Ravaged By Climate Change, The Great Barrier Reef May Never Be The Same | HuffPost

As mass bleaching continues to devastate large swathes of the Great Barrier Reef, scientists are fast losing hope that the world’s largest living organism can be saved in its entirety. Conceding that climate change will “inevitably” cause the decline of the reef’s overall health in the coming decades, reef experts have started talking about a possible “Plan B” — a strategy that won’t save the reef as a whole, but may at least ensure that it doesn’t disappear completely.
