Tulum Mexico Yoga Retreat

Tulum Mexico Yoga

Join us for a week of yoga, relaxation, transformation and Mayan adventure in Tulum, Mexico.

Feb 22 – March 1, 2014.

Tulum offers the perfect combination of total relaxation, tranquillity and seclusion. Previously called Maya, city of dawn, Tulum sets itself apart with stunning sunrises, soft sandy beaches that stretch for miles and breathtaking turquoise waters. Surrounded by protected nature reserves, jungle, natural cenotes and ruins, Tulum is the perfect playground to recharge. We will stay at Las Ranitas Eco Boutique Resort where you will experience eco chic accommodations with breathtaking sea views, healthy nourishing meals and the opportunity to make the dream of soft sand and sea breezes a reality as you play, explore and give back to you.

The Retreat

Your Lotus Rising Retreat adventure in Tulum, Mexico will take you on a personal journey to help to reconnect back to you. Led by Pure Bliss Yoga & Bliss Warrior Life Coaching creator, Richelle Morgan, you will have the opportunity to deepen your practice both on and off the mat and be inspired. Richelle’s style of teaching is accessible to all levels and weaves attention to alignment, inspiring sequencing and a sense of play to take you beyond your perceived boundaries.

Yoga:
Re-energize with morning flow classes to help you kick-start your day with a sense of bliss. After a full day of beach time, excursions or spa pampering, unwind and relax with soothing restorative and yin yoga. Additional workshops, coaching and empowering rituals and meditations sessions will be included to create the ultimate experience of transformation.

In addition to a week of yoga and personal transformation, you will have the opportunity to explore the mayan coast and experience the traditions and local sites that have made Tulum so special. Whether it’s an excursion to a Mayan ruin, a refreshing and healing dip in a cenote, participating in a temazcal ceremony with a local shaman or simply snuggling into a soft hammock with a good book and the sea breeze as your company, your retreat experience will leave you refreshed and revitalized. Ready to return home inspired and infused with a new found connection to your body, mind and soul.

Anthropocene

The Anthropocene defines Earth's most recent geologic time period as being human-influenced, or anthropogenic, based on overwhelming global evidence that atmospheric, geologic, hydrologic, biospheric and other earth system processes are now altered by humans. The word combines the root "anthropo", meaning "human" with the root "-cene", the standard suffix for "epoch" in geologic time. The Anthropocene is distinguished as a new period either after or within the Holocene, the current epoch, which began approximately 10,000 years ago (about 8000 BC) with the end of the last glacial period.
