Event Description

First weekend in a series of 6 weekend workshops through the winter and spring of 2012 and 2013 right here at the Jackson Wellsprings, 2253 Hwy 99 N Ashland, OR.

Permaculture offers powerful tools for the design of regenerative, fair ways to provide food, energy, shelter and other needs while learning to live in harmony with nature. Drawing on ecology, whole systems design and indigenous knowledge, the PDC presents an array of solutions tools and strategies for moving into a low carbon way of living sustainably on the only planet we have.

This is the primary permaculture course offered around the world with lots of local knowledge and applications. Participants learn to apply regenerative permaculture principals and patterns to design integrated homesteads, energy and water systems, animals, gardens, appropriate technology, forestry and healthy communities. This PDC is offered at Jackson Wellsprings and students will be working on a permaculture design for the Wellsprings property during the course. Lead instructor is Tom Ward with co-teachers Melanie Mindlin and Karen Taylor. Tom has taught dozens of permaculture design courses and advanced permaculture courses in Southern Oregon and Northern California over the last 30 years. He is the author of Greenward Ho! Herbal Home Remedies: An Ecological Approach to Sustainable Health. Tom advises local farms and has a social forestry project in the Little Applegate Valley where he is demonstrating natural building, fuel hazard materials utilization, multiple products woods-crafting, wildlife enhancement and desert forest water management. There will be 6 workshops in the series, Dec 8-9, Jan 12-13, March 2-3, March 23-24, and April 6-7. The course price is $650, with an early registration price of $575 if received by 11/11/12. The Deception of Virology | Why Coronavirus Is Not Contagious | The Bernician

Firstly, viruses are not living organisms or living microbes. They do not have a respiratory system, nor do they have a nucleus or digestive system. Viruses are not alive and viruses are not contagious. The fear behind Coronavirus, for instance, is wholly unwarranted. Forget everything you think you know about viruses and bacteria. You have been lied to. The science of virology is based upon the study of viruses. However, no real footage of viral activity exists (except for a recently released (2018) short footage of an HIV virus which shows merely 20% of the virus theory process). Such footage is merely 3D animation and models. Scientific Encyclopedia states viruses have been obtained for experimentation by means of extremely powerful centrifuges which must be specially built. Viruses are so small that they average around 0.1 microns in size for a typical virus.

There Are Two Strains of COVID-2019—But Is One Actually Deadlier Than the Other? | The National Interest

On March 3, 2020, Dr. Xiaolu Tang and his colleagues at Peking University and other institutions published a study in the National Science Review which caused a stir in a world preoccupied by the inexorable spread of the novel coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-2019). From cases identified in China and abroad, he and his colleagues had identified two distinct strains of the virus.

UN REPORT: Covid-19 Lockdown-Related Hunger Kills 10,000 Children Per Month, Throws 140 Million Into Extreme Poverty | Fort Russ

As the coronavirus plandemic and its restrictions are pushing already hungry communities over the edge, COVID-19-linked hunger is leading to the deaths of 10,000 more children per month over the first year of the pandemic, according to an urgent call to action from the United Nations. Now as lockdowns and international trade routes disrupt vital aid supplies, the UN has warned that the coronavirus pandemic could have an intergenerational effect on the health of millions of children, Daily Sabah reported. Based on the worst-case scenario written by the UN experts, nearly 180,000 children could die this year alone where the pandemic could cause young children to miss 50% of their nutritional care and treatment services. Further, more than 550,000 additional children each month are being struck by what is called wasting, according to the UN – malnutrition that manifests in spindly limbs and distended bellies. Wasting and stunting can permanently damage children physically and mentally, transforming individual tragedies into a generational catastrophe.

S.D. Gov. Noem Dismisses Report Claiming Sturgis Motorcycle Rally Was COVID 'Super Spreader': 'It's Fiction' | Trending Politics

"This report isn’t science; it’s fiction. Under the guise of academic research, this report is nothing short of an attack on those who exercised their personal freedom to attend Sturgis,” said Gov. Noem in a press release Tuesday. "Predictably, some in the media breathlessly report on this non-peer-reviewed model, built on incredibly faulty assumptions that do not reflect the actual facts and data here in South Dakota. “At one point, academic modeling also told us that South Dakota would have 10,000 COVID patients in the hospital at our peak. Today, we have less than 70. I look forward to good journalists, credible academics, and honest citizens repudiating this nonsense," Gov. Noem said. Good journalists are repudiating it, but there may not be any credible academics left anymore given the fact that our system of higher education has long since been dominated by Marxist/Leftists -- some of the same people who tried to tell us that a 'scientific study' from earlier this year 'proved' that riots, protests, and looting-fests have not spread the virus. Only motorcycle rallies and Trump political events spread coronavirus, don't you know.
