Welcome to the Ashland Resource Center.

May your creative projects all be blessed. You can utilize this network as it grows to share about yourself and your projects/business/organizations. This is our own community version of MySpace/FaceBook.

You can fill out your "MyPage" with more information and resources. In the "text" box you can add a description, format text, upload photos, embed video, etc. This is your own little "website" with full capabilities. You can "Edit" features on your "MyPage," move the boxes around by selecting and dragging the headers to where you want them on the page. You can even change your theme and appearance.

In the "RSS" box you can add any RSS feed. You can upload a profile photo or logo under "MySettings" so we can feature your page.

For new member instructions and tutorial go to: FAQ's & Tutorial

Use this network to share yourself in the local community by inviting your friends under "Members" to see your "MyPage" profile and add their own. This is how the network grows strong and we are kept informed locally.

Namaste,
-Johnny & Linda

Colonization tragically forced many indigenous people to forget and forsake our innate connection to Earth. But many of us today are beginning to remember. What is taking place in Standing Rock is awakening what once lied dormant in so many of our people: the Earth is our Mother, and Water is Life.

Million-acre St. Lawrence Island land title signed over to native population | KTUU News

In one of the biggest land conveyances in US history, the federal government officially signed the title to Saint Lawrence Island over to its native population. More than one million acres of land was researched and surveyed by the Bureau of Land Management in preparation for the title transfer. Using GPS mapping and aerial photography, the BLM took three years to complete the process before handing over ownership of the island.

Osage Nation Takes Ownership of Ted Turner's 43,000-Acre Ranch | ICTMN.com

Yesterday media mogul Ted Turner officially transfered ownership of his 43,000-acre Bluestem Ranch to the Osage Nation. The tribe's $74 million purchase restores a portion of the roughly 1.2 million acres that the tribe owned until 1906, when the reservation was allotted to individual tribal members, according to Chief Geoffrey M. Standing Bear. The Osage Reservation once covered the entirety of Osage County.
